BGB recovers 600 grams of heroin in Rajshahi

Members of the Border Guard Bangladesh (BGB) recovered 600 grams of heroin worth Tk 1.2 million from Nodar Field area under Godagari upazila in Rajshahi in the early hours of Thursday.

According to the BGB, acting on a tip off, a patrol team of DMC border outpost under 53 battalion in Chapainawabganj raided the area at around 3:00 am and recovered the heroin worth Tk 1.2 million, BSS reported.

Later the illegal drug was handed over to the Department of Narcotics Control.
