Burger King shares Iftar with healthcare workers

Burger King shared a set of iftar meal with all the frontliners of Kurmitola General Hospital, Mugda Medical College and Hospital and Kuwait-Bangladesh Friendship Government Hospital.

“It was a privilege to be able to offer some form of comfort to those who have been working literally nonstop to help keep this pandemic at bay,”- Burger King Bangladesh expressed their part of satisfaction in a press statement.

“A warm, safe, hygienic, and freshly-made burgers & fries can at least show overworked healthcare workers that they are appreciated. We shall not forget the critical role our frontliners are playing & how important our healthcare system & essential services are to all of us.” This world famous fast food franchisee has conveyed its firm commitment of not to stop there. They will be serving the healthcare workers with 25% of discount on all of its food items. At Kurmitola General Hospital, Burger King took a step further by handing over 300 pieces of face shields to the authority of hospital," the statement added.
