A six-month old baby girl died and three other members of a family were injured as a gas cylinder blasted at a village in Chandpur on Tuesday.
The deceased was identified as Sumaiya Akhter Eva, daughter of Nasir Miraz.
Local union parishad chairman Moniruzzaman Manik Patwary said that a fire broke at the house of Nasir early in the morning following the explosion, leaving Sumaiya dead, according to UNB.
Besides, Nasir, his wife Marzana Begum and their son Nayan, 8, were also received burn injuries. The fire also burned down the house.
