Couple found dead in Kurigram

A couple was found dead at a house at Baniatari in Nageshwari upaizla of Kurigram district on Friday.

The deceased were identified as Nazrul Islam, 45 and Rumi Begum, 40 of the village, reports UNB.

Local people spotted the bodies lying in their house in the morning and informed police, said Rowshan Kabir, officer-in-charge of Nageshwari Police Station.

Later, police recovered the bodies and sent those to a local hospital morgue for autopsy.

Police suspected that miscreants might have strangled the couple to death sometime at night.
