Cover unveiled of book ‘The Story of Advancing Mediation Movement in Bangladesh’

The cover of the book titled ‘Bangladeshe Mediation Andolon: Agiye Jawar Golpo’ (‘The Story of Advancing Mediation Movement in Bangladesh’) was unveiled at a programme arranged in a hotel in the capital.

Mahidi Hasan Dalim, senior reporter at online news portal Dhakapost.com and also an Accredited Mediator, has written the book.

Chief guest of the programme Justice Md Ashraful Kamal, a High Court Division judge of the Supreme Court, unveiled the cover.

Justice Ahmed Sohel, a judge of the High Court division of the Supreme Court, was also present at the programme as a special guest, while Samarendra Nath Goswami, a senior advocate of the Supreme Court and also the founder of Bangladesh International Mediation Society (BIMS), presided over the programme.

Chief Judicial Magistrate of Bhola district Sharif Md Sanaul Haque, Senior Advocate Pankaj Kumar Kundu, Senior Advocate Motahar Hossain Saju, Deputy Attorney General Dr Md Bashir Ullah, Law Reporters’ Forum (LRF) President Ashutosh Sarkar, and Advocate Ishrat Hasan were present at the programme.

Krishnandra Narayan Chowdhury, former minister of the West Bengal government in India, Apoorva Patel, trainer of BIMS, among others, also joined the programme through social media and delivered speeches.
