Detectives in a drive arrested two members of banned militant outfit Jamaat-ul-Mujahideen Bangladesh (JMB) along with arms from Adamdighi upazila in Bogura early Sunday.
The arrestees were identified as Rubel Hossain, 27, and Abdul Bari, 25, of Shibganj upazila in Chapainawabganj district, UNB reported.
Tipped off, a team of detectives conducted a drive in the area and arrested the duo of the banned outfit from Pouta Primary School area, said Sanatan Chakrawarty, additional superintendent of Bogura police and in-charge of district police (media).
They also recovered two firearms and 12 rounds of bullets from their possession, he added.
