A “Signing Ceremony” of the Redeemable, Non-Convertible and Cumulative Preference Shares up to BDT 800.00 million for Zodiac Power Chittagong Limited was held recently at a hotel in the capital.
The fund will be used to construct a 54.363 MW (net) HFO-based power plant at Potiya, Chattogram.
Dhaka Bank Limited is the ‘Arranger’ and ‘Agent’ for this arrangement.
Bangladesh Commerce Bank Limited, Bangladesh Infrastructure Finance Fund Limited (BIFFL), Trust Bank Limited and Dhaka Bank Limited are the participating subscribers in this transaction.
Mr. Syed Mahbubur Rahman, Managing Director & CEO of Dhaka Bank Limited; Mr. Imran Karim, Vice Chairman & Mr. Khalid Islam, Managing Director of Zodiac Power Chittagong Limited; Mr. Md. Ekhlasur Rahman, Additional Secretary, Finance Division, Ministry of Finance, and Executive Director & CEO (Additional Charge) of Bangladesh Infrastructure Finance Fund Limited; Mr. Md. Abdul Khaleque Khan, Managing Director & CEO of Bangladesh Commerce Bank Limited; Ms. Humaira Azam, Managing Director (Current Charge) of Trust Bank Limited along with other senior officials of the respective organizations were also present in the program.
