Eastland Insurance holds annual business confce

The Annual Business Conference-2023 of the Eastland Insurance Company Limited was held at DCCI Auditorium in Dhaka's Motijheel on Sunday.

Eastland Insurance Chairman Mahbubur Rahman inaugurated the conference.

Members of the Board Kamal Uddin Ahmed and Md Tanvir Khan spoke on the occasion.

Executive Vice Chairman Ghulam Rahman also attended the conference.

Chief Executive Officer Abdul Haque, FCA presented an analytical report on yearly business of the company.

Speaking on the occasion, Mahbubur Rahman said the company could achieve 95 per cent of its business target set for the year 2022 amid the Russia-Ukraine war and post-pandemic situation.

He appreciated the management team, including all executives and employees of the company, for rendering best efforts for business promotion during the tough time.

The chairman further expressed his expectation that the executives and employees will jointly continue their efforts in the coming days.

Mr Rahman also stated that the Eastland Insurance Company has passed 36 years of its journey and achieved sound financial strength and enviable goodwill.

Shahid-E-Monzoor Morshed, additional managing director (MD) and head of Khulna region, Md Shafiul Alam, additional MD and head of Motijheel branch, M Golam Hafez, additional MD and head of Claims, and other senior executives of the company also attended the conference.
