Gas supply to remain suspended in city’s western part

The gas supply will remain suspended for 12 hours from 8:00 pm on Thursday to 8:00 am on Friday in different areas of western part of Dhaka for maintenance work.

The areas are: Gabtoli, Darus Salam, entire Mirpur -- including Mirpur DOHS, Kalyanpur, Paikpara and Monipur -- Shaymali, Adabar, Agargaon, Ganabhaban, Mohammadpur, Sukrabad Dhanmondi, Jhigatola, Hazaribagh, Kamrangichar, Nababganj, Lalbagh, Savar and its adjoining areas.

According to a media release issued by Titas Gas Transmission and Distribution Company, the gas supply will remain stopped from district regulating station (DRS) in Aminbazar to the areas in the western part of Dhaka city and Savar area due to maintenance work in the CGS of Gas Transmission Company Limited (GTCL).

The Titas Gas consumers of the areas will experience gas supply shortage or low pressure problem, reports UNB quoting the press release.

In another media release, the Titas Gas authorities said that the gas supply will remain halted from 1 pm to 9 pm on Friday at Rajendrapur crossing to Nasir Glass Factory in Joinapur Bazar due to TBS maintenance.
