Global ICT infrastructure provider Huawei Technologies recently signed an MoU with Rajshahi University of Engineering & Technology (RUET) to establish an ICT Academy aimed at helping students gain industry-oriented knowledge and develop ICT skills.
The MoU was signed at the RUET Vice-Chancellor Professor Dr Md Sazzad Hossain’s office on Tuesday, said a press release.
Karl Yu Ying, country director of Public Affairs and Communications Department at Huawei Bangladesh, along with other officials from Huawei Bangladesh, was present at the event.
In April 2022, Huawei opened the first ICT academy at BUET. Later in August, it signed an MoU to establish the second academy at KUET.
There are some 1,500 ICT academies run by Huawei in more than 90 countries around the world, the release added.
