Members of Border Guard Bangladesh (BGB) nabbed an alleged hundi trader along with US$22,500 from Benapole check-post on Wednesday.
Lieutenant colonel Ariful Haq said, tipped off, a team of BGB-49 arrested Mahmudul Hasan (34), son of Abdul Aziz of Netrakona district and recovered US$22,500 from his possession.
The arrestee was sent to Benapole Port Police Station later, reports UNB.
