At least four people were killed, including two women, in a head-on collision between a bus and a CNG-run auto-rickshaw near Laxmipur bus stand in Sadar upazila of Kushtia district on Tuesday.
The deceased could not be identified immediately.
Ratan Sheikh, officer-in-charge of Islamic University (IU) Police Station, said that a bus 'SB Super Deluxe' collided head-on with an auto-rickshaw around 10:30am, leaving three passengers of the auto-rickshaw dead on the spot and four injured.
Later, the injured were rushed to Sadar Hospital where another succumbed to his injuries.
