Lakshmipur road crash kills college student, injures three others

A college student was killed and three others were injured when a motorcycle hit an auto-rickshaw at Khilbaisa in Lakshmipur sadar upazila on Wednesday morning.

The deceased has been identified as Adnan Hossain, a first-year student of Lakshmipur Government College. He was the son of Ismail Hossain of the upazila's Mirzapur village, reports a news agency.

Four people were initially injured in the accident, said Dr Anwar Hossain, resident medical officer of Sadar hospital.

Doctors pronounced Adnan dead when he was brought at the hospital, he said.
