Livestock dept official Dr Emdadul Haque dies from coronavirus

Dr Emdadul Haque, an official of the Department of Livestock Services, died from coronavirus infection at a private hospital in the capital on Tuesday. He was 57.

Dr Haque passed away early in the morning in the capital,” said a press release from the department.

He left behind his wife, two sons and a host of relatives and well-wishers to mourn his death, UNB reports.

Fisheries and Livestock Minister S M Rezaul Karim, Secretary Rawnak Mahmud expressed deep shock at the death of Dr Haque.
