Two people, including a pickup driver, were killed while two others injured as the vehicle overturned on Magura-Jhenidah road at Abalpur on Saturday.
The deceased were identified as Noor Islam, 35, driver of the vehicle and resident of Jagla village in sadar upazila and Mamun, 40, a brick field worker, hailed from Saluapara village of the upazila.
Police said the accident took place when the pickup turned turtle around 10:00am leaving the driver dead on the spot and three others injured.
Later, the injured were rushed to Magura 250-Bed Sadar Hospital where the duty doctor declared Mamun dead, reports UNB.
The bodies were kept at the hospital morgue, police said.
