Met office forecasts rain, thundershowers

Rain/thunder showers accompanied by temporary gusty/squally wind is likely to occur at a few places over Rangpur, Sylhet, Mymensingh and Chattogram divisions and at one or two places over Rajshahi, Dhaka, Khulna and Barishal divisions in the next 24 hours until 6:00pm on Monday.

Mild heat wave is sweeping over the regions of Rajshahi, Pabana, Khulna, Kushtia, Chuadanga and Mongla and it may continue, Met office said.

Day and night temperature may rise by (1-2) degree Celsius over the country.

The sun sets in the capital tomorrow at 06:40pm and rises on Tuesday at 5:12am.

Country's highest temperature 37.5 degree Celsius was recorded on Sunday in Rajshahi & Chuadanga and lowest 22.5 degree in Khepupara, reports UNB.
