Minor boy drowns in Netrokona pond

A minor boy drowned in a pond at Bishampur village in Kalmakanda upazila in Netrokona on Thursday.

Rubel Bhuiya, chairman of Koilathi Union Parishad, said Mahfuz, 7, son of Ferdous Mia, fell into the pond while playing on its bank in the afternoon.

Later, family members recovered his body floating in the pond, reports UNB.
