A youth was hacked to death by unidentified miscreants in Satmatha area of the town on Saturday night.
The youth was Sabbir Hossain, 17, hailed from Mataji village under Mohadebpur upazila in Naogaon district. He was a second year student at Nazipur College.
Additional Police Super of Bogra Sonaton Chakraborty today said a gang of miscreants hacked Sabbir at about 08:45 pm on Saturday night, as per BSS report.
He was rushed to Shaheed Ziaur Rahman Medical College Hospital where he succumbed to his injuries.
