Motorcyclist dies, 38 RMG workers injured in Manikganj road crash

A motorcyclist was killed and 38 ready-made garment (RMG) workers were injured as a minibus carrying the workers aboard hit the motorcycle and overturned on Dhaka-Aricha highway at Bhatbar in Manikganj Sadar upazila on Saturday morning.
The identity of the deceased and injured could not be known immediately.
According to UNB news agency, Habibur Rahman, officer-in-charge of Golra Highway Police station, said the accident took place at around 7:30 am, leaving the motorcyclist dead on the spot and the garment workers injured.
The injured have been admitted to the 250-bed Manikganj Hospital.
