NASA has invited the winning team from Bangladesh once again after their US visa was denied.
Olik, the Bangladeshi winning team in NASA Space Apps Challenge 2018, presented their project via video conference on July 22.
During the conference NASA high officials said that they were empathised with Team Olik as they could not attend the final event due to visa complexity.
Team Olik will have the chance to get felicitation with the World Champion of this year’s NASA Space Apps Challenge 2019, the event’s local organiser, BASIS, said in press statement on Wednesday.
Participating at this global event has opened new door for Bangladesh where students will get the opportunity to work with NASA closely.
BASIS along with ICT Division has been organising NASA Space Apps Challenge in Bangladesh for the past 4 years.
