PM mourns Mahbubey Alam’s death

Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina on Sunday expressed profound shock and sorrow at the death of Attorney General Mahbubey Alam, reports UNB.

In a condolence message, she said the nation will always remember the contributions of Mahbubey Alam, former president of the Bangladesh Supreme Court Bar Association, to the arena of the country's legal profession with gratitude.

"As an eminent jurist, he played his role with great skills in many legal matters of national importance. He also devoted himself to his profession righteously which will always remain imitable for all," she said.

The Prime Minister prayed for the salvation of the departed soul and expressed sympathy to his bereaved family members.
