Police arrest four suspected robbers in Magura

Police arrested four alleged robbers from Gorerhat village in Shalikha upazila on Friday night.

The arrestees are Masud Mollah, 37, Billal Mollah, 35, Pikul Mollah, 38, of Hazrahati village and Siraj Mollah, 38, of Ghashiara village of the upazila.

Tarikul Islam, officer-in-charge of Shalikha Police Station, said a patrol team of police arrested the four robbers while they were preparing for committing robbery in the area at night, UNB reported.

They were wanted in various robbery cases filed with different police stations including that of Jashore and Narail, the OC added.
