Police detained 36 people from nine upazilas of Bagerhat district in Khulna in special drives conducted from Thursday night to Friday morning.
They were arrested on charges of dealing drugs, said Shahadat Hossain, additional superintendent of Bagerhat police.
The arrestees will be produced before the court on Friday afternoon, UNB reported.
