The beheaded body of an unidentified young girl was recovered from Fuljor river in Raiganj upazila of Sirajganj district on Sunday.
Pabitra Kumar, Sub Inspector of Raiganj Police Station, said on information, police recovered the floating body of the girl without head from Dhangora bridge’s north side in the afternoon.
Later, police sent the body to Sheikh Fazilatunnesa Mujib General Hospital morgue, reports UNB.
The girl might have been killed after rape, said the SI.
