Police recover bodies of ‘Yaba trader’, Rohingya man in Cox’s Bazar

Police recovered the bodies of a suspected Yaba trader and a Rohingya man from near Leda Rohingya camp in Nilha of Teknaf upazila on Friday noon.

The deceased were identified as Shamsul Huda, 33, brother of Nurul Huda, member of ward number eight of Nilha union and a listed Yaba trader and Rahim Ullah, 22, of Leda Rohingya camp, reports UNB.

Locals spotted the throat-silt body of Shamsul and the body of Rahim in a sack near the camp around 12:30 pm and informed police, said Md Afruzul Haque Tutul, additional superintendent of Cox's Bazar Police.

Later, police recovered the bodies and sent those to Cox's Bazar Sadar Hospital morgue for autopsies.

Police primarily suspected that they might have been murdered over Yaba-related issue.
