Police recovered the floating body of an unidentified man from a waterbody in Salutika area in Gowainghat upazila on Friday evening.
Md Rajib Ullah, in-charge of Salutika police outpost, said locals spotted the body in a waterbody adjacent to Salutika Degree College and informed police.
Later, police retrieved the body and sent it to Sylhet Osmani Medical College Hospital morgue, reports UNB.
