Police recovered a hanging body of an expatriate's wife in Akhaura upazila of Brahmanbaria district on Tuesday morning.
The deceased was identified as Tania Begum (22), wife of expatriate Sumon Miah, hailing from Durgapur village of Akhaura upazila, a news agency reported.
Tania went to her bed after completing dinner on Monday night but she did not open the door till late Tuesday morning, according to police and locals.
Suspecting something bad, the family members broke the door and found the hanging body of Tania.
After being informed, police recovered the body.
The body was sent to Sadar Hospital for autopsy, said Mossaraf Hossain Tarafdar, the acting official of Akhaura Police Station.
Legal initiative will be taken after investigation, he added.
