Police recovers burned body of unidentified woman

Police recovered the charred body of an unidentified woman from Swaruppur village in Singair upazila early Friday.

Khandaker Imam Hossain, officer-in-charge of Singair Police Station, said locals spotted the body of the woman, aged around 25-26, near a road early in the morning and informed police.

Later, the law enforcers recovered the body and sent it to Sadar Hospital for autopsy, reports UNB.

The whole body except the face got charred, the OC said, adding that miscreants might have killed the woman elsewhere and dumped the body here and burned it pouring petrol.
