Members of Rapid Action Battalion (RAB) arrested an alleged drug trader along with 1.1kg heroin from Sujonpara area of Chapainawabganj Sadar upazila on early Saturday.
The detainee was identified as M Momin (32), son of late Saidur Rahman, hailing from Pathalia village of the upazila, reports UNB citing a press release.
Based on information, a team of RAB-5 of Rajshahi led by camp Commander Squadron leader Sayed Abdullah Al-Murad conducted the drive around 3:30am and arrested Momin along with the heroin worth Tk 10 million, a mobile set and a SIM card.
