The Rapid Action Battalion (RAB) is preparing for a raid on Kalabagan Krira Chakra club at Dhanmondi in Dhaka after finding illegal casinos at two other clubs.
A RAB team took position next to the club’s ground on Friday afternoon when a raid on contractor GK Shamim’s business at Niketan was continuing, reports bdnews24.com.
“We’ll raid the Kalabagan club too. We are waiting for the magistrate,” RAB-2 Deputy Commander Additional SP Mohiuddin Faruquee said.
“We are waiting. No one has been arrested yet,” he said when asked about reports that the club’s President Shafiqul Alam Firoz has been detained.
