A school teacher was killed as a motorbike hit him while crossing the road at Rajganj Bazar in Manirampur upazila on Wednesday night.
The deceased Saju Khan, 40 was a teacher of Gupikantapur High School and son of Iman Ali Khan of Mobarakpur vilalge in the upazila.
The accident took place in the area when a motorbike knocked down him while crossing the road around 11 pm leaving him critically injured, said Mobarak Hossain, officer-in-charge of Monirampur Police Station, reports UNB.
Later, he was taken to Jessore General Hospital where the doctors declared him dead.
