Schoolgirl found hanging in Netrokona

A schoolgirl, who went missing since Tuesday, was found hanging from a tree at Satpai in the municipality area on Wednesday morning.

Being informed by locals, police recovered the body of Mursalina Deepti, a class-X student and daughter of Nayan Mia of Katli area in the district town.

Later, the body was sent to Netrokona Sadar Hospital morgue for autopsy, said Fakruzzaman Jewel, superintendent of Netrakona Police, reports UNB.

The official adds that they are working to solve the case and find out the reason of death as it could not be immediately known whether the victim committed suicide or was killed.
