Bangladesh University of Professionals Development Leader's Club (BUPDLC) is organising its flagship event, DEVTHON 2.0.
It is a social development case competition where the participants will have to solve social problems such as urban poverty, unemployment, etc.
This platform is a chance for students to be acquainted with development practices, allowing them to think about the nation's and world's prospects while bringing out their creative development thinking.
Nabil Junied Ratul, Joint Secretary of BUPDLC, commented, “DEVTHON 2.0 is a platform where you can find the opportunity to study about development sectors and discuss it critically to reach the solution of given social case. And through the case competition and optimal prize money, we try to propagate the interest of youth towards social development.”
There will be two segments for this event. One is Development Case Competition (For undergrad students) and another is Devtalk (A session of young Development Practitioners).
“I feel gratified to be a part of this kind of distinguished event that provides a great opportunity to unleash the inherent potential of development thinkers. And BUPDLC is a promising club for the effectual intervention of the development prospects,” said Mamun Or Roshid, President of BUPDLC.
Back in 2020, the club successfully organised the first edition of DEVTHON, which saw participants from many universities around the country. Interested students can get registration details on their Facebook page.
