Televised classes for school students from Sunday 

Home works will be given at the end of each lecture

The Directorate of Secondary and Higher Education (DSHE) is set to televise classes on Sangsad Television from Sunday for students of class six to nine as their schools are shut due to coronavirus pandemic.

The recorded classes will be held from 9:00 am to 12 noon which will be repeated again on the same day from 2:00 pm to 5:00 pm, according to a DSHE notification signed by its Director General Professor Dr Syed Md Golam Faruk.

The programme titled “My School at My Home” will start with the national anthem at 9:00 am, followed by the lectures of English (from 9:05 am to 9:25 am) and Science (9:25 am to 9:45 am) for learners of class six.

After that, the lectures, 20 minutes each, of class seven, eight and nine will be held successively till 12 pm.

Lectures will be held on English, Science, Bangladesh and World Affairs, and ICT for class six to eight while English, Science, Bangladesh and World Affairs, and Chemistry for class nine.

Respective teachers will give home works at the end of each lecture.

The students will have to submit those home works to their respective class teachers after their schools resume, once the pandemic ends.

The teachers will also evaluate the home works given on the broadcasted classes.
