Members of Detective Branch of police arrested three members of a gold smuggling gang along with 9.33 kilograms of gold from the Airport road in Dhaka on Wednesday night.
The identities of the arrestees could not be ascertained immediately, a news agency reported.
Tipped off, a team of DB North conducted a drive in the area and arrested the trio along with a car and the consignment of gold, said a SMS sent by DB police on Thursday morning.
