A truck-driver's helper was killed as a bus ran him over at Ramakantapur in Shalikha upazila on Magura-Jessore road on Friday.
Rabiul Islam, officer-in-charge of Shalikha Police Station, said helper Ismail Hossain, 35, was repairing their stationary truck around 9:00am. When a Khulna-bound speedy bus of 'HR Paribahan' from Dhaka hit him, he died on the spot.
On information, police recovered the body and sent it to Magura Sadar hospital morgue; according to a news agency.
