Two motorcyclists were killed as their motorbike overturned near Hatirjheel area in the capital early Tuesday.
The deceased have been identified Hedayet Ullah, 25 and his friend Habibullah, 24.
Kazi Wazed Ali, officer-in-charge of Badda Police Station, said the accident took place around 4:30am when the vehicle crashed into a road divider, leaving the two bikers dead on the spot.
On information, police recovered the bodies and sent those to Dhaka Medical College Hospital (DMCH), according to a UNB report.
The OC said that Hedayat, a civil engineer of a private farm, used to live in Sat Rasta area. His friend Habibullah came to visit his house from Gazipur.
