Two minors drown in Faridpur

Two minor children drowned in a pond in Kamlapur area of Faridpur district town on Tuesday noon.

The victims were identified as Tabassum, 7, daughter of Lokman Sheikh and Safayet, 6, son of Zakir Mridah, residents of the same area.

Police said the children fell into the pond and drowned while they were playing across the side of it, reports BSS.

The locals recovered the bodies of the children from the pond and carried to Faridpur General Hospital where on duty doctors declared them dead.
