Chief Justice Syed Mahmud Hossain on Sunday formed two more High Court benches to hold virtual hearings and disposing of urgent cases of criminal and civil jurisdictions during the ongoing closure of the courts due to the coronavirus outbreak.
Justice Md Rezaul Haque will deal all kinds of very urgent criminal cases, except those filed by the Anti-Corruption Commission (ACC), said a notification issued by Md Golam Rabbani, registrar of the High Court division of the Supreme Court.
Besides, Justice Md Khasruzzaman will hold hearings on all kinds of civil cases, also said the notification.
The lawyers can file applications to these two courts through emails, [email protected] and [email protected], respectively.
