Virtual business event for school and college students to begin

After two commendable business events, Josephite Business Club has once again brought their flagship event "Walton 3rd Josephite Entrepreneurs' Den" for school and college students. Innovative thinking, accurate planning and an entrepreneurial mindset are essential for students to grow leadership capabilities irrespective of their backgrounds. Keeping that in mind, the event is arranging a wide range of innovative contests to encourage young minds. With the motto- ‘Outclassing the Obstacles,’ Entrepreneurs' Den aims to create a healthy competition among the new generation to overcome any kind of difficulties on their way.

The event has been organised completely online and will be operated through popular online education platforms like online forms, Zoom, Google Meet and Facebook Live. Josephite Business Club will stick to its speciality of unique and original events and launch 18 contests in 31 segments. Students from class six to HSC 2020 from any medium or group can participate in this event through registration which is free for all. Students can form cross-institution teams for team segments.

Notable contests of this year's event include Young Budget Analyst, Product Redesigning, Business Multimedia Presentation, Case Cracker, Business Extempore Speech, Sell Me This, Brand Identity Development etc.

Registration for this event started from December 23 and will be open until January 13. Around 94 reputable schools and colleges are invited to this virtual business event. The event begins on January 14 and will continue for a week up to January 20.

Mr Syed Almas Kabir, president of BASIS and director of FBCCI, will inaugurate the event virtually. Top three participants or teams of all segments will be provided with certificates and crests. This year, Walton is the title sponsor of Josephite Entrepreneurs' Den. Other partners are YSSE, Radio Shadhin, The Financial Express, Upward Bangladesh, and Cultural Classicists.

"Josephite Business Club works with the goal of making today's students tomorrow's leaders. Josephite Entrepreneurs' Den allows the club to pursue that goal practically," said Ms Jasmin Akter, chief moderator of Josephite Business Club. This year's president of Josephite Business Club, Ananyo Shourjo is leading and representing the student body of the club as well as the organising committee of the event. Walton 3rd Josephite Entrepreneurs' Den will be an excellent opportunity for students to garner business skills amid the pandemic.
