Woman dies at isolation unit in Kushtia Hospital

A housewife, who was undergoing treatment at the isolation ward of Kushtia General Hospital, died on Sunday.

The deceased was identified as Moyna Khatun, 43, wife of Abdur Rahim of Amla Mahdipur at Mirpur upazila of Kushtia.

Taposh Kumar Sarkar, resident medical officer of Kushtia General Hospital, said the woman came to the hospital with fever, cold and respiratory problem on April 10 and then she was taken to the isolation ward of the hospital where she breathed her last around 11:30am.

But the hospital authorities are yet to receive the coronavirus test report of the woman, he said, reports UNB.
