Police recovered the dead body of a woman journalist from the city's Hazaribagh area on Wednesday.
The deceased was identified as Sohana Parvin (37).
Being informed, the police rushed to the spot and entered her room by breaking open the door and found her body hanging from a ceiling fan with a scarf at around 4:00 pm, according to the Hazaribagh Police Station.
She had worked with the online news portal Bangla Tribune.
