The authorities of Islamic University (IU) in Kushtia have decided to introduce written exam in its first year honours courses entry test under the university's 2018-19 academic session.
IU Vice-Chancellor Professor M Harun-Ur-Rashid Askari approved the proposal of the university's central admission test committee, sources at IU registrar office said on Friday morning.
According to the decision, of the 120 marks, 20 marks will be contributed to written exam while 60 marks from MCQ and 40 marks to be derived proportionately from SSC and HSC examinations, reports UNB.
IU acting registrar SM Abdul Latif said more information regarding the admission test procedure will be available on the university website www.iu.ac.bd.
