Established in 1993 by Professor Rehman Sobhan, the Center for Policy Dialogue (CPD) is a powerhouse think tank that conducts research on critical socio-economic issues.

Job Responsibilities:

• The ideal candidate will have a keen and demonstrated interest in issues related to macroeconomic policy, data concerns, global economic issues and sustainable development goals (SDGs). 

• The internship provides opportunities to co-author publications with other senior CPD researchers and to participate in various in-house, national and international events organised by CPD on a regular basis.

Requirements:

• The candidate would need to have a degree in Economics with a minimum CGPA of 3.60 from a reputed university, in addition to good life-long academic results. 

• The candidate should have an excellent ability to read, write, speak and understand English. Skills related to the use of statistical analysis tools are highly desirable. 

• Experience of getting writing or research published in any format, and experience of conducting research, either professionally, freelance, or as part of coursework at university are also highly desirable.

• Interns will be recruited for three months and, based on their performance, may be considered for a career at CPD.
