The Anti-corruption Commission (ACC) on Tuesday filed a case against chairman of Perli Union Parishad of Kalia upazila in Narail district for embezzling government rice.
Assistant director of ACC, Jashore district office, Mahfuz Iqbal filed the case.
According to the case, chairman Jarjid Molla embezzled 2,550 kgs of rice allocated for poor under the social safety net programme of the government, reports UNB.
