Celebrated actor Saleh Ahmed, who enthralled audiences with his performances in several plays of Humayun Ahmed and films in the 1990s, has died at the age of 83.
He passed away during treatment at Dhaka’s Apollo Hospital on Wednesday, Ahsan Habib Nasim, the general secretary of Obhinoy Shilpi Sangha, said, reports bdnews24.com.
The veteran actor was suffering from various old-age issues. Saleh lost the ability to walk after a stroke nearly six years ago.
He was admitted to the Apollo Hospital after his health took a turn for the worse, said Nasim.
