A passerby was killed in Nishchintapur area on Dhaka- Chittagong highway in Comilla on Monday morning.
The deceased was identified as Mahbubul Alam, a hotel employee, reports UNB.
A speeding pickup van rammed Alam while he was returning home at 6 am, leaving him dead on the spot, said police.
Later, police recovered the body and sent it to Comilla Medical College Hospital morgue for autopsy.
