Two fishermen died after a fishing trawler capsized in the Bay of Bengal near Hatia upazila of Noakhali due to bad weather on Friday.
The identities of the deceased fishermen could not be known immediately, reports BSS.
The accident occurred in Damar Char near the Bay of Bengal in the island upazila around 10 am.
Hatia Upazila Nirbahi Officer (UNO) Salim Uddin said that a total of 13 fishermen were rescued alive from the trawler and sent them to Hatia Upazila Healthl Complex.
"Besides, two fishermen remained missing till this afternoon.
Police are searching them in the sea," the UNO added.
