In October 2018, Selma Blair announced to fans that she had been diagnosed with multiple sclerosis, an incurable debilitating neurological condition in which the immune system eats up the protective coatings of the nerves.

A new documentary, Introducing, Selma Blair, details the journey of an American actress’s medical condition and follows her on stem cell therapy.

The film shows that Blair is the most raw, depleted by chemotherapy and consumed by her condition. Rachel Fleit said the crew had avoided Blair’s symptoms, reports Reuters.

“I knew that my subject was also sick, so I didn’t do the 12-hour day and spent these short hours together.

“She informed us when it was time to go, but whatever the state, the crew was there, Selma was available, open and delighted with the amazing shoots,” she said. Told.

Blair advised people who were recently diagnosed with the disease.

“Don’t just say,’ Oh, that’s not happening’, have patience. It took me a while to build this nervous system in you. It may not go away overnight. Maybe there are modifiers of the disease … don’t worry with patience. This is your body giving you a sad gift called “slow down”. “

“Introducing, Selma Blair” is currently being released exclusively in theaters and will be streamed on Thursday on Discovery +.
