Two people were killed and four others injured as a bus rammed a pick-up van at Pakutia under Ghatail upazila in Tangail on Monday.
The deceased were identified a Rezaul Karim Shyamol, 32, a resident of Ghatail, and Kabir Hossain, 30, hailed from Phulbaria upazila in Mymensingh.
The accident took place on Tangail-Mymensingh road when the Mymensingh-bound bus from Pabna hit the pick-up van coming from the opposite direction around 11:30 am, leaving a pick-up van passenger dead on the spot and five others injured, said Maksudul Alam, officer-in-charge of Ghatail Police Station.
The injured were taken to Ghatail Upazila Health complex where doctors declared another dead, reports UNB.
